Donald O. Lagace Sr. established Lagace Realty in the 1970s with a number of apartment buildings and the development of 99 Western Avenue (formerly the University of Maine at Augusta) into office and retail space.
Don Sr. continued to acquire and develop office/retail and residential buildings until 1985 when he was joined by Donald O. Lagace Jr. Together they formed Capitol City Associates and continued to develop properties until 1993 when Don Sr.'s youngest son (Peter R. Lagace) joined the family business and the three founded a new partnership...Lagace Properties.
Collectively today Lagace Properties includes four Limited Liability Companies and three sole proprietorships consisting of 18 commercial, retail or residential buildings and one 9 lot subdivision.
